Mel Gibson is one of the few actors who has a strong charisma when appearing on the screen thanks to a unique face and voice. Apart from Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise is another name that has something similar. Although known as an action hero label, Mel actually has a natural warmth, so that facilitate people to like the character that was brought. Edge of Darkness is a vehicle used as a means of his comeback to the big screen partially actor, and saw him return to acting, really a sight that remedy.

The story itself is different from the estimate of all those who hope that the brutal action, full of anger, and implied in the quiet storm. The Brave One, Man On Fire, Taken and several other titles, clearly has a similar color with a different approach. People who wish Mel would act violently without any compromise in this movie, Mel would obviously question the motivation of this paper chose as her comeback. Everything was slow, thoughtful, but still everything is done by class. In short, this is not an action film, but the drama thriller which is suitable only watch of which the circles.

Enchantment Mel followed by two others from the British cast is Danny Huston and Ray Winstone, as the head of each nuclear plant as well as a mysterious government agent. Winstone with brilliant that should be able to replace the role played by Robert De Niro face each other at the dinner table, was very tempting, and certainly will add exciting levels of this film. With a serious tone, dark and heavy, negative attitudes that some people will still directed behavior and words of Mel in the past, certainly did not help sales of this film. Edge of Darkness is pure Mel show on the screen because without it, this film is hard to get big attention.

Martin Campbell seemed to adopt a whole story line that made William Monahan and Andrew Bovell results for the six-hour miniseries adaptation of the UK. Monahan clearly familiar with the quality and drama adaptation it feasible The Departed script first. But the film that rotates on a single kind of character this film needed more hikes both physical and emotional conflict, rather than serving the story of the original complex simple. When it came time action, Campbell used that momentum well as in Casino Royale is a fast, hard and surprising.
