Case 39

There's something about children. This inspired the filmmakers, especially thrillers and horror genres to continue exploring the possibility of the worst nightmares of parents so well. Most horror movies targeting teenagers as potential targets, but Case 39 could be a fantasy for parents who are tired of hearing screams of children. Emily Jenkins' work (Rene Zellweger) as a social worker who used to deal with troubled kids finally really problematic when dealing with 10-year-old girl, Lillith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland). Suspected of being victims of persecution their parents, then living at home Lilith Emily who switch roles so the temporary caregiver, until one by one the victims fell.
Hide and Seek and the Orphan can be referred for this kind of movie. What is clear though the premise is somewhat familiar, many scenes are quite effective and surprisingly, the surprise is still felt. Small scenes, such as slamming doors, a surprising angle shooting or sending minimal music that suddenly makes the film gripping this standard actually quite good as well for the category of English-language film, directed by Christian Alavart who seems fond of struggling with the thriller genre since curiosity and The Cat, eleven years ago.
Zellweger is likeable performances in other words the standard, because all the roles in his career brought to normal, covered with a startling acting Ferland. Resume 47 new films for the actress 16-year-old is clearly not without reason. Case 39 is practically a one kids show adult enough to make audiences shudder or at least think twice for a glimpse of things that look like a victim, but could reverse all the circumstances and become a real horror.
